Synopsis: In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon the malevolent King Boo has destroyed the titular satellite, turning Evershade Valley's once placid ghosts into mischievous apparitions, and forcing Mario's timid, clumsy, and oft-overlooked brother into action. For just the third time ever, and the first time since 2001, it's Luigi's time to shine (literally), as he makes his way through a variety of spooky mansions, solving puzzles, collecting fragments of the Dark Moon, and using his Poltergust 5000 strobe-light vacuum to stun and capture ghosts, all in an effort to rescue Professor E. Gadd.


There are a variety of ghosts to capture, including heavy-duty Slammers, telekinetic Poltergeists, and pesky Polterpups that like to steal important items, and up to four gamers can head into the high-rise ScareScraper for local or online multiplayer modes. In the Hunter mode players race against the clock to rid their floor of ghosts, while Rush mode is a bonus-filled race to the top floor, and Polterpup mode challenges gamers to track down as many of the pesky ghost dogs as possible. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
