Synopsis: Sony's critically acclaimed baseball series celebrates its 10th anniversary with new licensed equipment, year-to-year saves, and a revamped Diamond Dynasty in MLB 15: The Show. Players can now sport bats, gloves, cleats, and batting gloves from nine real-world manufacturers, and the new Universal Rewards system lets gamers earn new equipment as they take on classic modes like Road to the Show, Season, and Online Franchise. Users can earn new equipment to improve their Road to the Show players, secure official sponsorships for their Franchise, and unlock new cards in Diamond Dynasty.


The card-collecting Diamond Dynasty mode has been completely overhauled to reward gamers with new cards no matter what mode they are playing, though competing against other users or the computer in Diamond Dynasty games results in bonus player, equipment, or stadium cards. Cards no longer expire, so players can hold onto their favorite cards forever, and the Dynasty Player feature has been altered to shift the focus back toward collecting MLB players. Each Dynasty team now has only one custom player whose attributes can be improved by "eating" unwanted MLB player cards. MLB 15 has also added a Legend card for each of the 30 MLB teams, unlockable once gamers have collected every card for that particular team.


For the first time in the series, MLB 15: The Show offers year-to-year saves, meaning their Franchises and Road to the Show players from MLB 14 are forward compatible and can be transferred to the new game.
