Synopsis: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate offers a greater emphasis on adventure and mobility as gamers battle large beasts through a variety of locations. Players then return to their traveling caravan to take on more quests, exchange goods, purchase items, and upgrade weapons and armor. Vertical environments, climbing motions, and jump attacks offer new ways to combat foes, but the beasts can also shift the terrain in newly dynamic battlefields. There are two new weapon classes, and for the first time in the series, players can briefly jump on beasts to deliver a series of direct attacks.


Gamers can take advantage of hundreds of new items to craft and acquire as they take on an expanded roster of monsters, some of which are afflicted by a virus that makes them even more wild and dangerous than usual.
