Synopsis: Like the 3DS, the 3DS XL sports a clamshell design with dual displays, a touch pad, directional pad, six buttons, Circle Pad, microphone, 3D camera, 3D depth slider, wireless connectivity, and internal gyroscope and accelerometer for motion-based gaming. The top display screen features the same 3D effect in 24-bit color and 800 x 240 resolution (or 400 x 240 for each eye) as the DS, but it is now 4.88 inches diagonal (3DS is 3.53 inches). Also, the XL weighs approximately four ounces more, is 19mm higher, 22mm wider, and 1mm thicker than the standard 3DS.
