Synopsis: Sony's fourth gaming console features a custom eight-core processor, AMD Radeon graphics core, 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, Blu-ray optical drive, and 500GB hard drive. Other features include HDMI, Ethernet, and digital outputs, as well as USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 2.1. The console sits horizontally out of the box but can be stood up with the vertical stand that is sold separately. Packaged with the system are a digital copy of The Last of Us: Remastered, a power cable, HDMI cable, wired mono headset, USB charging cable, and the Dual Shock 4 controller.


New features for the fourth iteration of the Dual Shock controller include a touch pad, light bar, built-in speaker, headset jack, and Share button. To take full advantage of the light bar's capabilities a PlayStation Camera is required. With the push of the Share button users can upload screenshots and videos without ever exiting their game. PlayStation 3 gamers will be familiar with the general layout, six-axis sensor, and inclusions of two analog sticks, a digital pad, four shoulder buttons, and the Square, Triangle, Circle, and Cross buttons.
