Synopsis: The eighth expansion pack for The Sims 3 adds seasons, holidays, and weather effects. Players can build igloos in the winter, enjoy a festival in the spring, launch fireworks in the summer, and carve pumpkins in the fall. Other new activities include soccer, snowboarding, bobbing for apples, a haunted house, snowball fights, and tanning. Along with rain and snow, weather affects also allow Sims to be struck by lightning.
