Synopsis: Microsoft's third gaming console features a custom eight-core processor, AMD Radeon graphics core, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 32MB eSRAM, Blu-ray optical drive, and 500GB hard drive. Other features include HDMI, Ethernet, and digital outputs, as well as USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi. Gaming and media experiences can be enhanced with the use of a smartphone or tablet computer that has the Xbox SmartGlass app installed. Packaged with the system are a power cable, HDMI cable, wired headset, and Xbox One Wireless Controller.


The Xbox One Wireless Controller features a new digital pad, two triggers with fingertip vibration feedback, and two redesigned thumbsticks. Like the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, there are A, B, X, and Y colored buttons as well as two shoulder buttons. The former Start and Back buttons have been replaced with Menu and View buttons. An expansion port is included for additional items to be connected, such as a headset. Up to eight controllers can be used at the same time with the Xbox One with a wireless range of 30 feet. Two AA batteries or a Xbox One Play & Charge Kit are required to power the controller.
